"This song is off the 1986 album 'Knocked Out Loaded.' Dylan's late '70s and late '80s stuff always gets a bad wrap. I can understand that since the production is sorta cheesy and his vocal style can be too much for people. But once you get past all that, there is some really cool songwriting. This song is an example what I always think of as the Wu-Tang style of Bob Dylan song, where he flows over a repetitive backdrop with little or no chorus ever occurring ("Positively 4th Street" is my other favorite example). He keeps it interesting for 11 minutes, which is really cool. To create peaks and valleys he incorporated some gospel singers. To change up the dynamic on my version I had to change up the rhythm a few times. I hope I didn't butcher it too badly...highest respect to BD."
